PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method with which in the case of welding an aluminum-boron alloy, the property of a base material at the welded part is not deteriorated. SOLUTION: In the welding portion of the aluminum-boron alloy-made late material 10, mixture 50 of KFB<SB>4</SB>as a boron crystallized material 20 with a binder such as high molecular material is coated so that this boron crystallized material 20 melts down into a welding pool 30 at the welding time. Arc is formed from a TIG welding torch, and when the aluminum-boron alloy at the welding part (the surrounding zone with A in the Figure 1) is melted, KFB<SB>4</SB>as the boron crystallized material 20 is diffused in the welding pool 30. Then, in the process in which the welded part is solidified, KFB<SB>4</SB>diffused in the welding pool 30 uniformly crystallizes AlB<SB>2</SB>in the welded part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
