PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crop shear with which a crop piece which is stuck to the shearing tools of a drum type crop shear and not dropped can surely be dropped. SOLUTION: This shear is a drum type crop shear in which at least a pair of upper and lower shearing tools (3) for performing flying shear of the tip and the tail end of steel (7) is assembled and a projection (2) for pushing and separating the crop piece (4) to be sheared is provided in the vicinity of the shearing tool (3) assembled in a drum (1) in the rolling of the steel (7). The projection (2) is positioned ahead of the direction of rotation of the drum of the shearing tool (3) for shearing the tip part of the steel (7) and/or the height of the projection (2) is less than the height of the shearing tool (3).
