PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport method by which the movement to a slow cooling place of the coil bundle of a rolled wire is automated, the safety of workers is secured, and the working time is shortened. SOLUTION: In this transport method of the coil bundle of the rolled wire, after moving the bundle K of the coil of the rolled wire on a coil bundle support member 10 by transporting the bundle to a coil bundle support/drop device B with a coil bundle transport device A, the coil bundle is dropped down by working the coil bundle support member, this dropped coil bundle is housed in a slow cooling pot P of a slow cooling pot truck 22 which stands by at the lower part of the coil bundle support/drop device and, after that, this slow cooling pot truck is moved to the slow cooling place.
