PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating machine for making the thickness of a coating film to be formed on a plate entirely uniform. SOLUTION: A roller conveyor (2) for intermittently feeding the plate (1) in front and back directions is provided and a spray device (4) is provided above the center part of the roller conveyor (2) so as to be moved reciprocally in left and right directions. During a time when the feed of the plate (1) by the roller conveyor (2) is stopped, the nozzle (25) of the spray device (4) atomizes a coating material downwards while being moved in the left and right directions above the plate (1). During a time when the plate (1) is fed, the spray device (4) stands by at a side part position off the part right above the plate (1). COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
