STAINPROOF FRP BATHTUB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stainproof FRP bathtub which can be molded without increasing a manhour and incurring an appearance failure and a cost increase.

SOLUTION: This stainproof FRP bathtub is manufactured by applying a clear acrylic urethane coating material to the surface of an FRP bathtub formed of SMC (sheet molding compound) by press molding. The SMC to be used is composed of a resin compound with an internal release agent content of 0.6 to 0.9 mass% and glass fiber. Thus, it is possible to increase the adhesion of an acrylic urethane coating film to the FRP bathtub while securing release characteristics from a molding tool when the SMC is molded.
