PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an examination system capable of automatically identifying types of examination modules and determining whether or not there are examination menus according to the examination modules. SOLUTION: This examination system is provided with the examination menus including, at least, one or more examination setting icons, where, at least, one or more examination modules for detecting physical quantities peculiar to a subject, control parameters for controlling the examination modules, or processing parameters for processing the examination information obtained from the examination modules are preset. This system is provided with means for identifying the types of the examination modules the means for determining whether or not there are the examination menus corresponding to the types of the examination modules. This system is also provided with means for displaying an alarm, when there are no examination menus corresponding to the examination modules, or when an abnormal examination type is selected by the means for identifying the types of the examination modules.
