PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage cover of a rearing cage for a small animal capable of preventing pasture grass, straw, a leftover feed, etc., from scattering to the outside of the cage, minimizing an increase of the whole packaging volume even when the cover is packaged together with the rearing cage and minimizing the production cost and transportation cost. SOLUTION: This cage cover comprises corner members 1, 1, etc., arranged in corner parts of a base tray 31 along the outer surface of a box cage body 41 stood from the base tray 31 of the rearing cage for the small animal in a state of an interval kept from the box cage body 41 in a dropped state in the base tray 31 and front, rear, left and right sidewall members 2, 5, 3 and 4 having both ends connected to the corner members 1, 1, etc. All of them are formed of a translucent material. The height of each member is set at that covering the lower region of the box cage body 41 and inward bent protruding edges 1a, 2a, etc., are protrusively installed at the tops thereof.
