<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved catheter having a basket-shaped electrode assembly (electrode arrangement) which expands to various kinds of locations and has at least two location sensors in order to obtain the location of the electrode being attached to the electrode assembly. <P>SOLUTION: This catheter has an elongated catheter body 12, the basket- shaped electrode assembly 18 which is arranged at the distal end of the catheter body, and an expander 22. In this case, the catheter body 12 is equipped with the distal end, a proximal end, and at least one lumen which passes the distal end and the proximal end.
