<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enjoyable game machine capable of visually entertaining a player through the appearance of concealing symbols relating to the display of a variable display device, and keeping the player's expectation and excitement over a long period using the appearance of a ready-to-win condition. <P>SOLUTION: The predetermined concealing symbol is made to appear on the variable display device 310 during the process of executing a display game. During a process in which either of symbols already in display are concealed by the concealing symbol, the kind of the concealing symbol is varied.
