PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select characters which appear in a game based on a key-word included in a character string spoken by a user and feelings, and as a result, to select characters being more suitable for the requirement of the user.

SOLUTION: The character-selecting device is equipped with a terminal unit 100 and a selecting unit 200. In this case, the terminal unit 100 generates a command to make the selecting unit 200 select specified characters in response to the requirement of the user from the content spoken by the user. The selecting unit 200 selects characters which are more suitable for the requirement of the user based on the instruction from the terminal unit 100.
