<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head which increases elastic bending of a face in hitting a ball while assuring strength, has excellent repulsiveness and can increase a distance of a ball. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club of a hollow type or the golf club head known as a box type or pocket type having an aperture at the back of the hollow type and having at least either of an upper posterior portion extending downward from the rear of a top section or a lower posterior portion extending upward from the rear of a sole section, in which the thin-walled portion is disposed at least either near the face section of the top section extending backward from the top end of the face section or near the face section of the sole section extending backward from the bottom end of the face section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
