PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly enhance the enjoyability of a game machine such as a pachinko machine. SOLUTION: A variable display device is mounted at approximately the center of the game board of a pachinko machine 1. The variable display device has a liquid crystal display part and a center frame provided to surround the liquid crystal display part. A stage member is mounted below the center frame. The stage member has an upper stage and a lower stage. Game balls guided out of a side flow passage of the center frame are guided to the lower stage and then to the upper stage via a communication passage. At both of the upper and lower stages, the game balls roll as their rolling speeds are varied because of the curved configurations of both stages. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
