PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural component member which enables attainment of a high-strength and high-grade rigid joint of a support member and a sheet and enables economical assembly of a half-finished article and the structural component member into a structural member. SOLUTION: Each portion of a plurality of profile molded sections is interlocked in a manner of combination with one portion of a reinforcing member, and the profile molded sections are provided with end parts each having a projecting area in such a degree that one portion of the reinforcing member surrounds partially the projecting area interlocked with the member in a manner of engagement, by a dimensionally determined opening of the reinforcing member. Moreover, the profile molded sections are combined with the reinforcing members by a thermoplastic material injected into the areas where they are interlocked in the manner of combination with the individual reinforcing members. One of the profile molded sections is in one of a butting relation with the profile molded sections and an interlocking relation therewith. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
