PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply form a decorative panel having plating-like metal appearance at a low cost by applying a paint without using a conventional processing method (plating, vacuum vapor deposition or sputtering). SOLUTION: The single surface of a light transmitting base material 1 is coated with a paint containing a scaly vapor deposition aluminum foil 2 with a thickness of 1μm or less and the vapor deposition aluminum foil 2 in the coating film 3, after the evaporation of a solvent is superposed on the base material 1 so as to become a plating-like metal appearance surface M when the decorative panel is looked from the uncoated surface of the base material 1.
