CORRUGATED SHEET FORMING STAND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust a distance between shafts of forming rolls of a corrugated sheet forming stand. SOLUTION: An upper block 25 for supporting the rotary shaft of an upper forming roll 20 and a lower block 35 for supporting the rotary shaft of a lower forming roll 30 are arranged in the block housing space 12 of a stand base 10. A screw rod 26 extended from the upper block passes through the upper wall 13 of the block housing space and is tightened with a nut 14 to fix the upper block to the upper wall side and a screw rod 36 extended from the lower block passes through the bottom wall 16 of the block housing space and is tightened with the nut 17 to fix the lower block to the bottom wall side. A spacer is clamped between the upper block and the upper wall as needed. An input gear 34 is provided on the rotary shaft tip of the lower forming roll and the lower forming roll is directly driven by external driving force. Since each of the blocks is individually adjusted and fixed, the distance between and the parallelism of the shafts are easily adjusted and confirmed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
