METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ZEOLITE MEMBRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a zeolite membrane which hardly causes faults during membrane production or heat treatment. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the zeolite membrane comprises the steps of: impregnating into the inside of a porous supporter 1 with fine pores of 0.03 to 20μm in size a sol 3 for synthesizing enough amount of zeolite membrane to form the zeolite membrane of 5μm or more in thickness; forming crystals by hydrothermal treatment of the porous supporter 1; and forming the zeolite membrane 5 having gas separability and a thickness of 5μm or more in the porous supporter 1, wherein the zeolite membrane 5 is formed as a continuous membrane composed of zeolite crystals crystallized and grown by hydrothermal treatment from the sol 3 for synthesizing zeolite membrane in the fine pores 2 inside the porous supporter 1.
