PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable transplanter in which even lightweight seedlings can surely be transplanted without producing a defect stub and can be transplanted at a high speed by assisting supply of seedlings from a seedling feed part 7 to a transplantation claw 51 by carrying out watering. SOLUTION: In this transplanter for carrying out transplantation by charging a seedling 26 from the seedling feed part 7 into the transplantation claw 51 and moving the transplantation claw 51 to the surface of a field 25, a watering apparatus 105 for carrying out watering into a seedling-conveying pot 40 of the seedling feed part 7 is installed. A watering nozzle 107 is installed above the transplantation claw 51 and above the seedling conveying pot 40. A means 111 for controlling watering timing so as to coincide with dropping timing from the seedling conveying pot 40 of the seedling 26 to the transplantation claw 51 is installed.
