PURPOSE: A rubber composition containing a carbon nanotube as a reinforcement, its preparation method and a tire prepared by using the composition are provided, wherein the composition shows the improved mechanical properties compared with the rubber product using carbon black or silicon as a reinforcement. CONSTITUTION: The rubber composition comprises a rubber; and 0.1-150 wt% of a carbon nanotube or a carbon nanofiber as a reinforcement based on the weight of the rubber. The carbon nanotube or the carbon nanofiber is single wall carbon nanotube, multi wall carbon nanotube, graphitic nanofiber or their mixture. Preferably the rubber composition is prepared into the form of a rubber composite by using a surfactant, stearic acid or a fatty acid.
