PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print securely by using ink containing a pigment which easily precipitates. SOLUTION: In an ink jet recording device provided with a carriage 1 for moving a recording head 8 relatively to a matter to be printed and an ink cartridge 9 for feeding ink to the recording head 8, a moving body 15 formed of a material having the specific gravity larger than that of the ink is stored in the ink cartridge 9, and the moving body 15 is moved at the cycle shorter than the precipitation of ink. |
