POWER CONTROL CIRCUIT OF XENON LAMP AND XENON LAMP SIGNAL LIGHT APPARATUS EMPLOYING POWER CONTROL CIRCUIT OF XENON LAMP

PURPOSE: A power control circuit of a xenon lamp and a xenon lamp signal light apparatus employing the power control circuit of the xenon lamp are provided to increase the lifetime of a battery by using ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuits) to switch power. CONSTITUTION: A logic control unit(130) controls an operation of a xenon lamp according to a control process by an analog logic circuit. A power management circuit(100) converts a low voltage from a battery into a high voltage only in starting the xenon lamp under the control of the logic control unit(130). The power management circuit(100) includes DC(Direct Current)-DC converting units(110,120) for DC-DC-converting a DC voltage of the battery under the control of the logic control unit(130), a transforming unit(200) for converting a DC voltage higher than the DC voltage under the control of the DC-DC converting units(110,120), a starting unit(300) for converting the DC-transformed voltage to the higher and high pressure AC(Alternating Current) voltage to supply it to the xenon lamp under the control of the logic control unit(130), and switching units(510-540) for switching power voltage applied to the xenon lamp from the starting unit(300) under the control of the logic control unit(130).
