PURPOSE: A drying method and device using steam heat and far infrared rays is provided to compress the steam generated by a drying process and to radiate the compressing heat and condensation heat of the steam. CONSTITUTION: A compressing pump(g) is installed at the outer upper part of a drying tank(s). A discharge port in the compressing pump is connected to a compressed steam tank(d) installed at the inner upper part of the drying tank. A connection tube(l) in far infrared ray radiating tubes(b) having fins(v) is connected to the compressed steam tank. Conveyor belts(j) are installed between the far infrared ray radiating tubes. Stainless wire nets(t) are installed on the conveyor belt. A condensate tank(c) is connected to the connection tube, and has a heater(r). A compressing unit(e) is installed at the outer upper part of the drying tank, and compresses and supplies the sludge to the drying tank. A vacuum pump is installed at the right side of the drying tank. A sludge discharging unit(p) is installed at the left side of the drying tank.
