PURPOSE: A method for transmitting, editing, delivering a message and an image is provided to receive the image from a transmitter by on-line, edit the image, print the image on a postal card, and deliver the postal card to a receiver. CONSTITUTION: A message or an image being supplied in an ISP(Internet Service Provider) is selected. A message or an image is appended with respect to data printed on a postal matter. The message or image is transmitted to the ISP with an address of a receiver(S12,S13). The payment is executed related to the number of postal matters(S14,S15). A receipt and a payment process of the message or the image selected or transmitted from the transmitter are checked. A postal matter delivery date is transmitted to the transmitter(S17,S18). If a correction of the received image is necessary(S20), the correction is executed(S21-S24). A corrected image and message are edited for printing on the postal matter and stored as a compressed file. The compressed file is transmitted to a receiver resident local area(S26). The compressed file is decompressed and printed on the postal matter(S27). The completed postal matter is delivered(S29).
