PURPOSE: An ozone generator of eddy flow impeller type is provided, which can keep clearance between stationary electrode and a rotational electrode of auto rotational and eddy flow creating type so that even discharge throughout the whole electrodes can be made without any locally concentrated discharge, and can make laminar air flow without using any fan or motor, thus increasing ozone generating efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The ozone generator includes a cylindrical stationary electrode(20) made of non-insulating conductive material which is installed in the main body casing(11) of both sides opened to have an air inlet(13c) at one side and an ozone outlet at the other side; and a rotational electrode(30) of auto rotational and eddy flow creating type made of non-insulating conductive material in the form of impeller(32) which is fixed to a rotational shaft(31) to automatically rotate by air flow introduced from the air inlet(13c) and effluent to the ozone outlet for creating eddy flow, wherein between the body casing(11) and the stationary electrode(20), a coolant circulating jacket is formed.
