PURPOSE: Provided is a process of preparing nanoparticles having excellent transdermal absorption-promoting effect while at the same time improving physicochemical stability of nanoparticles when applied to the skin by adding alcohol, diol or polydiol to a formulation. Therefore, the nanoparticles provide enhanced transdermal absorption property and are thus used as a cosmetic and pharmaceutical compositions having a desired effect on the skin. CONSTITUTION: Nanoparticles contain a physiologically active component thereinside and have a particle size of 10 to 300nm. They are manufactured using phospholipid or a derivative thereof derived from lecithin or derivatives thereof. During the manufacture of the nanoparticles, monoalcohols, diols or polyols is added as alcohol.
