PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly supply charged mud into a suction pipe by installing a spiral conveyor used to stir and convey collected mud water in a tank. SOLUTION: Earth and sand and mud water dropped from a basket of a gravel separation device 1 move to the trough 3f side along an inclined face on a bottom of a mud tank 3 and are deposited sequentially from the inside of the trough 3f. Since a spiral conveyor 3b has a stirring action, it is driven to stir earth and sand and mud water in the mud tank 3 and measure viscosity by a viscometer 3d. When viscosity is high, mud water is supplied through a filler port 3e to adjust to proper viscosity. When mud water is discharged from the mud tank 3, the spiral conveyor 3b is driven to convey earth and sand in the mud tank 3 to the suction port 3a side and discharge it to the outside of a pit by a mud discharge pipe 5 connected to a suction port 3a. Consequently, it is possible to provide the spiral conveyor with two functions of stirring and conveying mud water. |
