摘要 PURPOSE: To obtain a detecting device which can detect the position of a travelling object more accurately than a changeover type by performing the positional correction of information after the position information obtained from an absolute position detecting part and relative position detecting part is stored once. CONSTITUTION: The position information, which is obtained from an absolute position detecting part 1 that detects the absolute position of a travelling object indicated by latitude and longitude by using the radio wave transmitted from a fixed radio station or satellite and a relative position detecting part 2 that detects the relative moving quantity of the object, is stored once in a raw data storage part 3. A data processing part 4 entirely shifts a relative locus consisting of a plurality of relative positional points obtained together with the absolute position in such a way that the relative positional relation of respective points of the relative locus is kept and the deviation of the respective points corresponding to those on the absolute locus becomes the minimum, thereby fitting the result to the absolute locus. Then, the values of X and Y coordinate axes shown by the respective points of the relative locus after it is fitted are stored as travelling locus of the object in a travelling locus storage part 5.
