COLOR FILTER FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A color filter for a liquid crystal display and a liquid crystal display using the same are provided to obtain an ITO patterned vertical alignment mode liquid crystal display realizing a wide view angle. CONSTITUTION: A color filter for a liquid crystal display includes a pixel part including a red pixel part(1), a green pixel part(2), and a blue pixel part(3); a coloring layer including a transparent glass(4), a black matrix(5), a transparent overcoat layer(6), and an ITO(Indium Tin Oxide)(7). The transparent overcoat layer includes a thermoset film made by hardening a mixture of a polyamic acid having a siloxane group at an end and an epoxy compound having one to four epoxy groups.
