PURPOSE: A system for opening and closing a door for a bus is provided to reduce the shock due to the opening and closing of a door by backward flowing air through a valve seat and balancing pneumatic pressure. CONSTITUTION: Air is stored in and supplied from an air tank. An emergency valve is for manually opening and closing a door in an emergency. A magnetic valve operated by an on/off switch determines the supply passage of air. A double acting cylinder opens and closes the door by the air determined by the magnetic valve. An anti-shock valve(50) prevents the sudden opening and closing of the door when the door is changed from a manual mode to an automatic mode.
