SACCHAROMYCES CEREVISIAE STRAINS DK990418 AND DK990419 CAPABLE OF SELECTING GENES ASSOCIATED WITH CELL DEATH

PURPOSE: Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains DK990418 and DK990419 which are capable of selecting genes associated with cell death are provided, thereby effectively selecting genes associated with animal and plant cell death by environmental stresses. CONSTITUTION: Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains DK990418 and DK990419 are capable of selecting genes associated with cell death, wherein the Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains DK990418 and DK990419 are isolated by sequencing pYX112-AtBI and pYX112-BcI2 to identify their open reading frame(ORF) regions; ligating NMV4 vector with the ORF regions of pYX112-AtBI and pYX112-BcI2 to construct NMV4-AtBI and NMV4-BcI2, and independently transforming Saccharomyces cerevisiae with NMV4-AtBI and NMV4-BcI2; and independently transforming Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains DK990418 and DK990419 with pYX112-Bax and pYX112 and verifying the production of clone in selection mediums SD-Glucose-Trp and SD-Galactose-Trp.
