PURPOSE: An impeller of a centrifugal blower for a vacuum cleaner is provided to achieve a stable structure for the impeller of the centrifugal blower by determining a caulking position of a blade provided between upper and lower covers such that minimum stress is applied to each caulking portion when a motor rotates. CONSTITUTION: An impeller(54) of a centrifugal blower includes an upper cover(54a) and a lower cover(54b). A plurality of blades(54c) is positioned between the upper and lower covers(54a,54b). The lower cover(54b) is connected to a motor through a rotating shaft. When the impeller(54) rotates about the rotating shaft, air is guided from the front end to the rear end of the blade(54c) through the upper and lower covers(54a,54b). A length of the blade(54c) becomes shorter as a maximum camber position is enlarged, so the blade(54c) has a relatively linear shape in a radial direction thereof. When centrifugal force is created in a radial direction of the impeller(54), a curved blade is subject to bending stress and a linear blade is subject to tensile stress.
