PURPOSE: An intake tower using a buoyancy valve is provided to heighten the utility of a reservoir, a freshwater lake or a water purification plant and to apply for a place where the regular water level is required. CONSTITUTION: The intake tower(10) using a buoyancy valve comprises a final discharge way and a discharge valve(20), a drain outlet, a float operated by buoyancy, and a float protective net preventing the separation of the float. If buoyancy is larger than water pressure, the float goes up and the drain outlet is closed, but on the other hand when buoyancy is smaller than water pressure, the drain outlet is opened.
