SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONVERTING LECTURE FILE USING XML

PURPOSE: A system and method for converting a lecture file using an XML(eXtensible Markup Language) is provided to display lecture data such as a moving picture, an image, a voice, or line data through a web browser without an additional Java applet or an activeX control by converting a lecture file manufactured by a web-tutor into an XML file. CONSTITUTION: A lecture file analysis unit(10) analyzes a lecture file manufactured by a web-tutor and extracts a lecture data block according to chapters. A lecture data structure extracting unit(20) extracts a data structure in the lecture data block. An XML creation/conversion unit(30) creates XML files with respect to each chapter in accordance with an analysis result of the lecture file transmitted from the lecture file analysis unit(10), and executes an XML conversion in accordance with a characteristic of the data structure extracted through the lecture data structure extracting unit(20). The lecture data block is constituted as the unit of a chapter.
