FIELD: welding, namely restoration and repairing worn parts. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes lying electrode having bent stem secured to electrode holder and meltable part designed for placing with gap on surfaced face. Lying electrode is formed of mutually fastened n parallel rods of surfacing wire. Meltable part of electrode is tightly embraced by means of slit rings made of metal whose melting temperature is less than melting temperature of rods and by means of slit rings made of electrically insulated material with low fire resistance. Thickness of slit rings is equal to gap between electrode and surfaced face. Rods of meltable part of electrode may be assembled in groups arranged with mutual intervals exceeding maximum size of flux pellets. At least one rod of meltable part of electrode is made of surfacing wire with alloying elements. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, enhanced quality of surfacing, improved efficiency, lowered cost of surfacing. 3 cl, 6 dwg |
