A solid preparation comprises sorbic acid, at least one acid which is liquid at room temperature (23oC) and at least one other organic acid different from sorbic acid which is solid at room temperature. Preferably the liquid acid is chosen from propionic, acetic, lactic, valeric, formic, isobutyric, trimethylacetic, 2-methyl-butyric, hexanoic, butyric, phosphoric, hydrochloric or sulfuric acids and the solid organic acids is chosen from fumaric, tartaric acid, malic, succinic, adipic, ascorbic, gluconic, citric and amino acids. Also described is a feed which comprises the preparation and the use of the preparation as an animal feed additive. |
