PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To largely improve control accuracy of a system while largely reducing manufacturing cost of a common rail pressure sensor. SOLUTION: A fuel injection device sets a common rail pressure output value (Vatm) at an atmosphere equivalent time outputted from the common rail pressure sensor in a predetermined time after an engine stop at an atmosphere pressure learning value (Vming), and changes a basic pattern of an output characteristic of the common rail pressure sensor to a learned pattern of the output characteristic of the common rail pressure sensor. In other words, a characteristic displacement of an own output characteristic of the single common rail pressure sensor is learned and corrected, a common rail pressure (Pcg) after the learning and correction corresponding to a common rail pressure output value (Vc) is reflected to later common rail pressure control. Thus, control accuracy of the common rail type fuel injection device (system) is largely improved while the manufacturing cost of the common rail pressure sensor is largely reduced.
