<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability and reliability in reading data from the non- volatile memory of each of developing units and to decrease unnecessary radiation of electromagnetic waves. <P>SOLUTION: The non-volatile memory 101 is attached to each developing unit 14 and is connected to the communicating part of an image forming part 20 by radio communication.
