<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera having a function for automatically classifying photographed images so as to be easily used by a user at the point of time when the images are photographed. <P>SOLUTION: The images photographed with an image fetching device 2 are classified into a plurality of categories on the basis of a time interval or photographing period set in an initialization processing part 7, and the images are displayed on a screen so that the user can easily handle the images.
