PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with speed-up without damaging the function of a conventional direct drive motor. SOLUTION: This is a direct drive motor in which a stator 18 is arranged within a rotor 17, which has such a structure that it is equipped with a bearing A for supporting rotation, and which can be driven by directly coupling a load to the motor without using a reduction gear. For the bearing, a plurality of rollers 5 are set between an outer ring 1 and an inner ring 2, and the outer ring 1 and the inner ring 2 have raceway surfaces 1a, 1b and 2a, 2b each larger in diameter than the radius of the roller 5. For each of the rollers 5, an outside diameter 5a to serve as a rolling contact face has a curvature in the axial direction, too, and they are arranged crosswise alternately each. Also the external surface 5a of each roller 5 contacts always with each ring at two points in total, of which the one point is on the raceway surface 1b of one outer ring 1 to which the outside diameter 5a of the roller 5 always oppose and the raceway surface 2a of the inner ring 2, and another point is on the raceway surface 1a of the other outer ring 1 and the raceway surface 2b of the inner ring 2.
