PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corner post capable of fitting the end of a fence panel body and easily carrying out the execution work of the fence even when the fence panel body in the corner of a fence has an arbitrary intersection angle. SOLUTION: The corner post 1 to which the butt ends of a fence panel body forming the corner end are fitted, is erected at a corner of a fence formed by continuously connecting a fence panel. The corner post 1 has a fixing column 2 fixed to the lower end and a free column 4 horizontally connected to one side edge of the fixing column 2 through a hinge 3. The end of one of the butt fence panel body is fitted to the side face of the fixing column 2 and the end of the other fence panel body is fitted to the side face of the free column 4.
