PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight footrest device rich in transportability and the working efficiency, superior in strength and durability, and extremely inexpensively mass producible. SOLUTION: A structure of this footrest device 1 is constituted by forming a resin layer 3 by covering the whole outside surface of an almost U-shaped hollow metallic pipe core material 2 for continuously arranging leg parts 2b on both sides of a footrest part 2a with a synthetic resin, and also boring a screw 4 on an outer peripheral wall of the resin layer 3 of a tip part of both leg parts 2b.
