<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card that can prevent an unauthorized third party's processing and maintain safety in security by automatically disabling processing using the IC card when a given time elapses even if, for example, an authorized user him/herself leaves his/her seat for some reason after establishing authentication in authentication processing by the user him/herself. <P>SOLUTION: The IC card comprises an authentication processing means for executing authentication processing, a timer for counting time, an elapsed time measuring means for measuring on the timer an elapsed time from the time when the authentication processing means establishes authentication, a time setting and registering means for setting and registering a given time in advance, an execution stopping means for stopping the execution of processing of a command received from an IC card processor when the elapsed time measured by the elapsed time measuring means reaches the time registered in the time setting and registering means, and a controlling means for controlling each of the means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
