<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the usage waiting time of a device by performing optimum starting. <P>SOLUTION: The system control part of a digital copying machine detects fixing temperature by using a temperature sensor in a fixing part by power source supply. When the detection temperature is lower than stipulated temperature (prescribed temperature) which is lower than reload temperature for forming a black and white image, an image scanner part performs an AGC processing (a white level correction and a black level correction). When the detection temperature reaches the reload temperature for forming the black and white image, the image scanner part conducts the AGC processing again and, then, black and white image forming is permitted to display black and white copying possible. When detection temperature reaches stipulated temperature the image scanner 10 performs the AGC processing only once when temperature becomes the reload temperature for forming the black and white image and, then, black and white image forming is permitted to display black and white copying possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
