<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advertisement discount type pay TV viewing system in which a view charge of pay broadcast is discounted depending on viewing of CM to be subjectively selected by a viewer. <P>SOLUTION: The purpose is attained by adopting the pay TV program service method in which a broadcast station broadcasts a plurality of advertisement programs whose discount rate is decided and a plurality of pay programs through storage type data broadcasting broadcast, allows a storage device built in a receiver of a viewer to store the programs, when the viewer selects a pay program to be reproduced and viewed, selects an advertisement program viewed at the same time of the pay program, and when the viewer views continuously the advertisement program and the pay program, the view charge of the pay program is discounted according to a discount rate depending on the viewed advertisement program and the results are charged on the viewer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
