<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which provides a plurality of images in easy-to-see sizes and which requires only a small area for installation. <P>SOLUTION: A single display device comprises a first display device for displaying a first image and a second display device consisting of a display part for displaying a second image and a transparent virtual image forming part for forming the virtual image of the image. The display part of the second display device is arranged outside the first display device, and the virtual image forming part is arranged overlapped with the first display device. An observer can sharply observe the first image which is a real image from all distances and can sharply observe the second image which is the virtual image only from a prescribed distance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
