FLAT CABLE CONNECTING PART, AND METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable connecting part which is highly reliable even in a high-density flat cable.

SOLUTION: A flat cable 3 is made by coating a flat conductor 1 with an insulating film 2. Two conductive sheets 9a, 9b electrically connected to a terminal plate of a connector are superposed on the flat cable 3 to sandwich the flat conductor 1, thereby forming a superposed part 11. A cut line 12a is made in the superposed part 11 at the position of the flat conductor 1. Portions of the superposed part 11 located on both sides orthogonal to the cut line 12a are staggered in the direction of lamination of the superposed part 11. Contact portions P1, P2 where the flat conductor 1 contacts the sheets 9a, 9b are provided at ends of the portion along the cut line 12a.
