摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band allocating device capable of observing the allocation of an insured band to traffic that changes like a burst, and suppressing buffer overflow in an OUT, an increase in a round trip time due to allocation delay, the allocation of an unreasonably small amount of band to a customer who sporadically uses the band, the occurrence of an invalid band, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This band allocating device for dynamically allocating at least one portion of a shared band to each line is provided with: a traffic observing means 10 for observing the use situation of the band allocated to each line; a band request receiving means 20 for receiving the declared value of an allocation request band periodically inputted to each line; a band predicting means 30 for predicting the allocation request band of each line on the basis of at least either the declared value of the used band of each line detected by the traffic observing means 10 or the declared value of the allocation request band received by the band request receiving means 20; and a band allocating means 40 for allocating a band corresponding to a result predicted by the band predicting means 30 to each line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p>
