PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow rate control valve by reducing costs by reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: The rotation of a motor 42 for a water proportional valve is directly transmitted through a warm acceleration/deceleration mechanism to an output gear 44, and the output gear 44 is provided with a screw part 51 formed so as to be vertically movable according as it is rotated cooperatively with a screw part 52 formed at a lower case 47, and a shaft 45 for holding a valve body 46 is mounted on the output gear 44. The cover of an opening 20 of a body 11 into which the valve body 46 is inserted is integrally formed with the lower case 47 so that the number of parts can be sharply reduced. The range of rotation of the output gear 44 for deciding the movable range of the valve body 46 is controlled by an upper stopper 49 and a stopper 50 at an upper case 48 side on the one hand, and controlled by the lower stopper of the output gear 44 and a stopper at the lower case 47 side on the other hand. Thus, it is possible to make it unnecessary to provide any rotary position detecting means, and to reduce costs. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
