EAVES-EDGE THROATING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eaves-edge throating structure in which workability can be improved while ensuring waterproofness. SOLUTION: In the eaves-edge throating structure, eaves-edge throatings (8) installed to the eaves-edge section (10) of a roof surface are formed in a size longer than the breadth of plate tiles (1) while the end sections of the eaves-edge throatings (8) are superposed and built mutually when the plate tiles (1) are roofed on the roof surface in the plate tiles (1) in which only ridge- side end sections are used as non-exposure sections (1a) and residual sections as exposure sections (1b), throating-combining connecting materials (2) having a length equal to or approximately equal to the vertical-width size of the plate tile (1) or approximately equal length to the size are disposed on the rears of the mutual thrusting sections of the two plate tiles (1) thrusted and adjoined in the breadth direction, and alignment marks (9) indicating the places of the connecting materials (2) installed are formed to the eaves-edge throatings (8) at every constant span including joint sections in which the end sections of the eaves-edge throatings (8) are superposed mutually.
