PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface shape recognition sensor device capable of calibrating the sensitivity of each sensor cell using a less circuit constitution. SOLUTION: A calibration signal line CL is provided whereto sensor cells 11 are connected commonly, and at the time of calibrating, calibration signals CAL for instructing a calibration are supplied to the sensor cells via the calibration signal line CL. If a decoder 20 selects one of the sensor cells 11 supplied with calibration signals CAL from the calibration signal line CL, a calibrating motion is conducted consisting of adjustment of the sensitivity of each sensor circuit 2 using a calibration circuit 3.
