PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper for base-isolation which is lower in the height than a conventional damper for base-isolation, whose shape is not changed by repeated deformation and which can be manufactured easily and inexpensively in a damper for base-isolation used for a base-isolating device, especially a damper for base-isolation for protecting a building from an earthquake, used with an isolator for base-isolation. SOLUTION: This damper for base-isolation for decreasing an earthquake energy at an earthquake, used together with an isolator for base-isolation, is characterized in that a damper body comprises a curved board-state body made of metal.
